Members Art Featured
at Gallery in June and July
The Tombaugh Gallery will feature work by
artists within the congregation and friends of the
church.
The show will run Jun 2 through July 11. The
Tombaugh Gallery will be closed the weeks of July 14 and July
21, while Peace Village, a youth day camp, is in
session.
Participants in the June/July
show will include well known regional artists as well
as talented newcomers to the area and others who have shown their
work less frequently. Works will be included by Lois Wilson
(fused glass), Judy Licht (silk paintings), John Northcutt ( steel
sculpture), Sandy BarMcQ (Quilting), Roy van der Aa (socio/political
acrylics), Lucia Wilcox (watercolors) and Don Neidig ( painting),
among many others. See last
page of this issue for photos of some of the artwork.
Exhibiting art monthly for 6 years, the mission of
the Tombaugh Gallery is to reach out to the wider community so that
thought-provoking art may be contemplated within an open, tolerant
and forward-reaching faith community. The member show also
highlights the similarities and celebrates the differences of a
diverse group from many paths and traditions who have chosen to
worship together.
